Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky

When I first saw a trailer, my mouth stayed open for another couple of minutes. Yes, I adore her! And finally, the movie is here, in "Europe" cinema in Zagreb, ready to capture my heart.
That cinema usually shows documentary and alternative movies and it's also a place where you can sit and drink your coffee surrounded with movie directors, actors, singers and some other performers. Also, this is a place called a home to many events and festivals like Animafest, Human Rights Film Festival, Queer Zagreb and at saturdays there's dancing till early hours.
Tomorrow I'm going to see that film with my friend. At last! And I really don't know what makes me more happy- the fact that I'm gonna see her or Coco.

About Chanel... what to say? I am a fan, that's for sure. Maybe she's my favourite designer, I can't decide between her and some others. But she is definitely one of the greatest icons of all times! What I love the most are, of course, her famous black and white ideas. It may looks too strict for someone, but I simply can't get enough of that style. It takes me to times I always wanted to live in. On the other hand, that Chanel bag over the night became such a must have part that apparently everyone has her/his own sample. No, I don't have it. Why? Well, it's not that I don't like it, but I hate those huge trends. And I don't have money for the original, of course.

The photos are taken about ten minutes from my house and are made by her. Location is old ruin cottage in the wood. The nature is gorgeus there, the smell of grass enchanting. Only problem were mosquitoes so now I have large marks over my legs. Nevermind.

I'm wearing a vintage shirt and dress, Jadran socks, Dorothy Perkins flats and Diadema pearls.

For the end, I would love to quote Coco. This is one of my favourite.

"How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone."

Enjoy the movie! I know I will...

P.S. I admit, I couldn't resist not making a fashion blog. The idea was born long time ago but somehow I just didn't have enough time, will or courage. I hope this will last. ;)
